About Chakra

Chakra believes in simplicity and reality, or observing the universe as it is without falling prey to the mind’s reactions.  He attributes all of life’s phenomena to karma, which he constantly strives to improve through his spiritual pursuits.  As an astrologer, he avoids speaking about his capacities, preferring to let his clients judge his accuracy through their own experience. 

In the 1980’s, Chakra studied at Sampurananda Sanskrit University in Varanasi, India under the guidance of Mr. Pandit Janardan Sastri, guru of Kasinares.  He obtained a masters degree in Sanskrit & Astrology.  Chakra admits he’s never stopped being a student – in his words, “life is an exam.”

Since 1991, Chakra has been providing astrological guidance to clients from around the world.  He shared his knowledge throughout his travels, which took him to Germany, France, Netherlands, UAE, Yemen, and India.  He spent 15 years as the resident astrological advisor at Everest Casino in Kathmandu.  Since then Chakra spends more time in meditation and spiritual pursuits, providing astrology from his modest Kathmandu home. His many long-term clients regularly receive his advice via e-mail and phone.

The purpose of vedic astrology is to help people.  An astrologer’s job is to act as a guide in life, pointing people toward their most fruitful directions.  Any of life’s facets can be observed through the lens of vedic astrology, illuminating uncertainties and clarifying the obscure nature of our social, spiritual, and economical circumstances.
